Underdogs Sri Lanka was created to give a second chance to the strays who never had any kind of support! Set in a Tamil area where the signs of the civil war are still affecting the community.
They are completely devoted to improve the life of street and beach dogs in the North East of Sri Lanka. It focuses on, rescuing, rehabilitating, sterilising/vaccinating and rehoming strays who are in urgent need. Located on the beautiful coast of Nilaveli.
Underdogs Sri Lanka fosters only a small number of rescued dogs in their centre where they are provided with all the care they need. The rescue centre also functions as a clinic space when mass sterilisations are organised and rehabilitation centre when treatments are needed.
They also organizes different feeding spots and currently is providing food and medical assistance to more than 50 strays in the community. To make a donation, please visit their website.
